Talk Show earned their first break through a mixture of hand-to-mouth DIY activity and sheer fortuitous luck. Debuting atop a rising tide of scintillating guitar bands, Talk Show are flourishing on the underground. “It’s a matter of time before someone will breakthrough,” frontman Harrison affirms. “Look at IDLES being nominated for a BRIT. The focus is turning.”
Starting out at Battery studios in London, John spent his formative years working for legendary producers Flood and Alan Moulder. During this time he engineered on projects for Led Zeppelin, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails, Richard Hawley, Chairlift, Death Cab For Cutie, Interpol, Foals, Warpaint and Ben Khan. Leaving Battery in 2017 he went to work for composers Antony Genn and Martin Slattery spending the next year working on the score for the BAFTA wining season four of Peaky Blinders. John has since built his own studio in North West London and has been working with both up and coming and established artists such as Swervedriver, Babeheaven, Talk Show, JW Ridley, Jordan Mackampa and Spector.
